While at the far end in May there was a German (I think) couple who took their dog on to the beach. No prizes for guessing what it did on the sand. Shouldn't be allowed in my opinion.

He is adorable and I saw him this year shade bathing at the far end of the beach.  I will definitely take some dog treats with me in September!  Its always nice to make new friends whether they be dogs or humans!

Love the dogs ferrule or not they're always friendly.
A few years ago we adopted a 'Lassie' type collie (forgotten the breed name - it's early Monday and my heads not switched on yet) and she followed us everywhere, even bought her dog food from the supermarket and we called her Lassie, what else?
One day on the beach a Greek guy was walking along the back of the far end and we heard him shout 'Lassie' and she went running after him.
Evidently she had done a runner from Chania and had been missing for over six months.
So look after them, their not always rabid!!

Check out the GAWF site their doing a good job!
If I had the info with me I would give it to you, I,ll bring it in tomorrow!
