Holiday Companies / temperatures in plakias

We are going to plakias in august and wondered what the temperatures are like?  Does it go cool in the evenings because of the sea breeze?  Haven't been to crete in august before and don't know what to pack for evening wear.

Plakias / lamon aparthotel

Hi  
I've booked into the lamon aparthotel this summer and wondered if anyone has any info on location/standard of the apartments.  This will be my first time staying in plakias though we did stop off there for lunch in 2003 as we were out and about when we stayed in georgioupoulis.
