Thanks for that note Andy

I noticed that in the photo of the beach bar that Ostraco uploaded, a small image appeared in the text which when clicked on produced a larger image in a separate pop up window. I thought that was good. Is that the standard way this board deals with an attached photo or did Ostraco employ some other clever stuff as well ?

Me?  Clever?  Come on!!!!!

Browse to pick the picture you want to add as an attachment.
Click the Add This Attachment box.
You'll see a new message box has appeared, giving your pic name. Alongside that, you have the option to 'Remove' or 'Add into Post' - that's what I did!

Looking forward to seeing some pics within the messages!
